The show’s title, ‘CONTROL FREAK: ALIGNMENT and UNIFORMITY’, is a launching pad for Lucy Molnar Wing’s groundbreakingly innovative art and photo based hybrid images. A fixed montage of current and historic scenes form a tapestry-like background upon which each eight separately titled, sub-themed installations of juxtaposed images unfolds as chapters in a book. The work seeks to explore what it means to be human and civilized. The viewer is engaged in the reflection that man and nature pursues control.
