Propeller Centre for Visual Arts turns 10 years old in August 2006. The brainchild of artists who wanted to create space for themselves and their work, Propeller has continued to be a space of vibrancy, experimentation and synthesis in the intervening years. The list of members who have passed through this space runs to over 100. The current Propeller membership is signifying this particular temporal landmark with a show and Opening / Party, sampling the work of 54 artists who have at one time been members of Propeller. This is a historical event.
