Brief Description of show:
In this body of work, using digital technology the artist has drawn a series of fourteen imaginary organic forms. Though essentially non-representational, each image’s subtle references to biological form, growth and movement evoke a sense of living energy and presence. Small in size, the work invites intimate interaction, but itself remains mute as to the scale of the entity being “represented.” The aim of the work is to combine ambiguity of form, function, reference, and scale to explore as well as question the relationship between the animate and the inanimate.
