Greetings from the Living End

New Work by Peter ShmelzerAn exhibition at The Propeller Centre for the Visual Arts, featuring new work from artist Peter Shmelzer will open on July 14, 2005 and run until July 31, 2005.

The artist describes the paintings, sculptures and drawings as glimpses of the final moments of human existence, "I asked myself, if you imagine human society continuing down its current path, until it met its own destruction, what would those final moments look like?"

Peter currently resides in Ottawa. He studied fine art at Concordia University in Montreal, has shown in Montreal and Toronto and his sculpture is part of the permanent collection of the City of Ottawa.
